POTTY TRAINING PARTY

Today we try for the third time to potty train Mahlon.  He will be four in a few weeks.  We have tried twice before and he just didn't get it.  Third times a charm right?

We have decorated the room with Lego City streamers, and big rig diggers.  It looks so fun in the bathroom.  Who wouldn't want to go potty.  Treats are in the tray, stamps and stickers are ready for the potty chart.

We got this!

Holy Week, and Easter Monday

Some days a stay-at-home mom really wishes the kids went to daycare. Easter Monday is one of those days. We are up early for sunrise mass, which starts at 7:00 AM. We try to leave the house at 6:15 AM, so everyone is up way too early, and I am not a morning person. M took a good nap Easter Sunday, but JK is feeling the early hours today.

Gathering Dust

When my knitting needles gather dust I get grouchy. I could go live with the grouches on Sesame Street. This week I hope my hand is steedy enough to hold the needles. Oh how I've missed you. Did finish up two scarves for JJ's school by hand washing them and adding button details.

Have yarn gathering dust too. They are ready for projects, just need to gather the needles, and other supplies to begin. I love starting new knitting projects. Usually this means I have finished a project and am ready for a new project to start. This isn't always the case for me. I love to start projects, and then don't finish them.

This house is always gathering dust, and I'm OK with that. It will be there tomorrow, and I've started cleaning so many times and get done. Then I have to start all over again. Just not in my personality. Bring on the knitting projects. I am ready to let the dust fly from the needles and yarn, and may it settle on the furniture where it may.

Little m is asleep, and I am itching to let the fibers and needles fly. I am working on an interlac scarf and I am loving the pattern. This is the second one I have made. The first one found a loving home at Mom's house.
